I called the travel agency today to confirm my trip to Russia. I'd intended to leave at the end of November to be back in time for Christmas, but the arrangements have shifted. Now it looks as though I won't be leaving until January. It doesn't make much of a difference, but it does delay my next progress next project. I'll have to do my Christmas shopping in this country.
It was a decent day.

It's nearly winter again. This fall has been mild enough so far, but I hope for a harsh winter. The colors have been unusually good this year, and I can only hope that winter is equally photogenic. Ironic, that the foliage is falling at the same time as the economy. Only one will be paying enough to get me through to the spring.
I looked into a new apartment a few weeks ago, but turned up empty-handed. It's rare to find a place in this city that provides an appropriate space for a darkroom, apparently. I won't keep up my search.
